Apply after cleansing, conditioning and detangling hair.
Apply while hair is still very damp. Avoid rigorous towel-blotting to minimize frizz.
Apply Born Curly Argan Leave-In Conditioner and Detangler liberally according to instructions. Detangle.
Smooth Born Curly Rosemary Vanilla Twist Defining Smoothie along a small section of hair, from root to tip, then twist, braid or bantu knot. As you near the end of each section, rotate your fingertip to form a coil. Proceed throughout entire head of hair. Spray hair with water to keep hair damp if it begins to dry before styling is complete.
Allow hair to dry completely to set the definition and avoid frizz. Air Drying Recommended. For older children, able to sit stationery for the time it takes hair to dry, you may use a hood dryer set to a low setting.
For twist-outs, braid- outs and knot-outs, make sure hair is completely dry. Lubricate fingertips with Born Curly Nourishing Hair and Body Oil and gently undo twists, braids or knots. Carefully separate sections with fingers for fullness as desired.
